The Obereggerhof in Vals in South Tyrol, Italy

Feel good naturally: Vacation on the farm in South Tyrol

The Obereggerhof farm lies in the picturesque, green Vals Valley. In the middle of the forest, just above the farm, is a small waterfall – a great place to relax and have a picnic. At the end of the valley is the most beautiful Alpine pasture in South Tyrol, the Fane Alm with the Wilde Kreuzspitz mountain and its 3,132 m (approx. 10,275 ft) high peak as a backdrop. Despite the quiet locale, the Roman Catholic dioceses city of Brixen is just 20 minutes by car and Bruneck is just 25.

The Obereggerhof farm was completely updated in 2009 using state-of-the-art climate control guidelines and retaining the wooden construction. The wood even came from its own forest. The farm’s own wood chip plant provides for comfortable and environmentally sound heat. All of the apartments in Obereggerhof are non-allergenic and non-smoking.

This allows for guests at the Obereggerhof to not just spend their vacation on the farm in the middle of South Tyrol’s nature, but to also be in harmony with nature.
