As soon as the first snow falls, the Almenregion turns into a popular family ski area. Winter sports enthusiasts of all ages enjoy the advantages of two ski areas: Gitschberg and Jochtal. As our guests, you can look forward to around 55 kilometers of slopes, and these are just 3 minutes by car from the Obereggerhof. Families particularly appreciate the Jochtal ski area in Vals Valley because of its easy and medium-difficulty slopes, the child-friendly ski school and the "Kinderland" (children's land).

Sportsmen are drawn to the Gitschberg ski area, which impresses with its challenging slopes and a fantastic 360-degree panorama of the Dolomites and the Stubai Alps. Snow fun for the whole family is also promised by the toboggan run right in front of the Obereggerhof and moonlit tobogganing on the Fanealm, all close by!

You can rent winter sports equipment for all ages in the ski rentals. Three other large and attractive ski areas are located in the immediate vicinity of the Obereggerhof: the Plose, the Kronplatz and the Sellaronda. They all belong to the Dolomiti Superski network and are a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 40 minutes' drive from the Obereggerhof.
